Perfecting Task Lighting

When it comes to task lighting, particularly down lights and pendants, a wrong step and you will be forever cast in shadow. Literally.

Your lighting choices should never be an afterthought, consider each room and how you use the space, it takes great planning and skill to get it right. Ambiance is also required when contemplating your task lighting needs, which is why the best rooms have multiple light sources, applied like layers, each one can be added or removed at the flick of a switch. We also always recommend installing dimmer switches, they give you the ability to brighten a space or tone it down to set the mood….. so as you can see the key to task lighting is options!
Whether it be wall lights or pendants next to your bed perfectly placed for snuggling up with a good book or your new favourite Netflix series, an easily adjustable table or floor lamp for lighting those dark nooks or whether its salon grade bathroom lighting for those deft makeup applications, it's important to get it right. Don’t despair if this has you in a task lighting tiz we are here to help.
